I am seeking any and all means of getting the word out to the Pagan community world wide, which is a hidden population. Only with help such as yours will I be able to reach the thousands of potentially interested women willing to complete my study.

I am hoping you will consider posting a notice in your mailing list. Also any help posting this notice in local metaphysical book stores or other appropriate locations will be greatly appreciated.

This study will collect new data on the population and their personal report of positive benefits gained by their association with a goddess focused spiritual path. For more detailed information go to

I am a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology.

I am seeking women 18 or older willing to complete a 10-20 minute survey on the Web in mid to late summer. I hope to do a study on men at a later date.

My research is on “The Positive Benefits of Goddess Focused Spirituality.”

Kent Madden is now offering his astrology services, at Eye of Horus. Kent specializes in personal natal charts, transits, and couple’s charts. Cost is $90 per hour. Daily 07/19 – 10/21 = “Journeys Through the MiddleKingdom & Other Mythic Places”: The water color paintings of Kent Hansen will be featured during this exhibit.

Saturday 07/23/2005, 5pm – 9pm = Artist’s Reception for Kent Hansen. Kent is a professional photographer, who can’t help painting. His impressionistic style is wonderful, and his Japanese-inspired pieces exude serenity. As a practicing Buddhist, Kent has incorporated poetic kanji into several paintings. Come meet our featured artist, and enjoy an evening of art with friends. Refreshments will be served.

Open Circle

Sunday 08/07/2005, 2pm – 4pm = Lammas Celebration: This is an open event, so don’t be shy. We will be casting a Wiccan circle, and celebrating the holyday also known as Lughnasadh. You do not need to be Wiccan to attend this event. There are two requirements: 1) Please don’t be late. Once the circle is cast it is disruptive to bring late-comers in. 2) Please think of a project or task you’ve been working on lately, which you would like to see come to fruition. This can be as personal & private as you like, since it will not be shared with others.

Friday 08/12/2005, 6:30pm -8:30pm = Hellenic Paganism/Recon. Discussion Group. The first hour will be devoted to book discussion, and second hour will be reserved for ritual. Donations to cover costs are cheerfully accepted.

Saturday 09/10/2005, 2pm – 4pm = Intro to Astrology: by Kent Madden. The study of astrology can be as intimidating as a foreign language, for those who are truly starting out. Kent will guide you through the basics, and provide pointers to get you on your way. Advanced registration of $15.00 is required.
